From artsper.com: Mosko was born from the alliance of two artists, who were childhood friends and have used their stencils to put the animals of the Savanna on the walls of Paris for more than twenty years. Michel Allemand and Gérard Laux are originally from the “eighteenth district” (18 arrondissements, Paris), which was under renovation for a long time and was finally finished in 1990. It is from this neighborhood that they took the pseudonym, Mosko.
